2025 Learn To Orienteer Workshop - May 10, 2025

This annual one day workshop is a great way to learn about the sport of orienteering!

Come away with the skills to confidently attack a novice course at one of YOA's Wednesday night meets. You will learn how to orient your map and then fold and hold the map in a way that allows you to keep it oriented as you follow your chosen route. Learn the map symbols, judging distance and ways to choose a route. Introduction to using a compass will be taught as well.

The 2025 Learn To Orienteer Workshop will be held in conjunction with the City of Whitehorse.
