City Race '26: Chase

Event Description

Whitehorse City Race is an urban running race through downtown where the race course is defined by a series of mandatory checkpoints. A map of the checkpoints is provided to each runner at race start. This chase sprint has start times based on results from last weekend, plus a later mass start for everyone else.Meeting point is the Waterfront Wharf at Front and Steele Streets.
SCHEDULE

This is the second of two paired events. The fastest runners from April 25 will be going out in reverse order so that the overall winner will be the first one across the line.

Don't worry if you did not participate last weekend - all runners are most welcome!

  • Two distances: Classic and Short, 8 km and 5 km respectively
  • Registration opens: 9:00am
  • Pre-Race Briefing: 9:45am
  • First Start: 10:00am sharp!
